Some of you may be wondering what’s going on with the AnimeVillage.com / dot-anime.us websites.

We will be using the dot-anime.us frontend interface and look/feel, while Bandai Entertainment will fulfill all orders from their warehouse. The switchover will be happening soon and should be transparent to the user, in the meantime please continue to use the websites as they are still both functioning. AnimeVillage.com will automatically switch to dot-anime.us once the transition period is over.

It suddenly occured to me… can’t update website at con, I don’t have my own laptop!

They even bought a rather… airy… costume >.>; I really hope they don’t make me wear it.

Other people will also be in costume throughout the day. I look forward to many wonderful cosplays <3

Maybe I will ask my co-worker to twitter the actual announcements until I can go back to the office late Friday before I go home and put up the real pages.

Everyone will be busy at the booth or doing panels or holding down the fort back home!

We are pleased and honored to welcome Mr. Masahiko Minami, involved with the production of hit anime titles such as Escaflowne: The Movie, Cowboy Bebop, Mobile Suit Gundam 0083, Wolf’s Rain, and numerous other titles as well! He is also the Company President of Bones.

Well, we’re less than a week away from Anime Expo and our schedule’s pretty much set for the 4 day show. I’m looking forward to announcing the cast of Gurren Lagann at the Aniplex panel on Thursday 4PM. I hope to see you there, as we’ll probably be showing clips from the dub as well. Also, don’t forget to stop by the Honneamise announcement panel on Friday at Noon and the Bandai Entertainment Panel also on Friday at 4PM.

Speaking of announcements, I don’t think the cast of Ghost Slayers Ayashi was ever announced in full, other bits of information like Steve Blum playing the lead role of Yukiatsu Ryudo and such… So, as part of us gearing up for Anime Expo, here is the cast list for you…

Whether you’re a father or are a magnificent male role model to our younger generations, this day’s for you and your family. Party with family and friends, or take some well-deserved time off and relax. My father is pretty hard to shop for… eventually I got him a card, some puzzle books, a bag of Kona blend coffee beans, and a 2009 leather journal.

Recent headlines in the news make this year’s more poignant than usual, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who have lost someone dear to them. We never know exactly when those we love will be called away, nor when we ourselves will pass on, so it’s important to cherish each and every day we have in this world. Help celebrate Father’s Day by remembering our forefathers, whether they be biological or inspirational, and share their lessons and memories with future generations so their spirit will live on.
