The hottest sport among the young people of Eden, who commonly refer to it as “tube race.” Races take place within the abandoned pipes once used in constructing Eden’s facilities. Takeru and Taira are entered in what is considered a “graduation race” to decide who is number one among the

school graduates that are currently awaiting assignment into society.
Every year, the winner of the race is awarded several special privileges from the senior residents who have already been assigned their various positions in society.
