The collection of 6 domes, power plant, and related facilities that form man’s last inhabitable bastion, the Lunar Republic, is referred to as Eden. The city is constructed within lunar craters covered by massive domes. Within each dome, a sky with a dead-brown Earth is projected on the ceiling.
Throughout the domes and connecting one to the other is a highway network known as lunar surface tracks. Normally, these tracks are traversed by unmanned commercial transport trailers. The tracks are also a playing ground for Eden’s youth and their LTVs, the intricate network providing a myriad of courses for illegal racing events.
On the surface of the moon, there are water reservoirs utilizing craters in various areas, as well as an abundance of greenery for cleansing the air. However, from 2:00 am to 6:00 am, those areas are closed off for both security and maintenance purposes, and irradiated with powerful ultraviolet light to induce oxygen production.
In the interest of safety, inhabited urban areas are concentrated underground. On the other hand, the surface is dominated by public facilities like the air circulation tower that ensures the flow of clean air throughout Eden’s subterranean areas.
Within one dome, there are residential areas located beneath a small crater which is connected to the surface by what is referred to as a Ågvertical trainÅh railway system.
Aside from the vertical train, there is a corkscrew roadway for vehicular use leading down to the underground area. This roadwayÅ\known as Ågthe spiralÅhÅ\is used by those vehicles that cannot be transported by train, and for traveling outside the operating hours of the railway.
Generally, the spiral is seldom used due to the overwhelming length of the roadway which results in longer travel time when compared to the vertical train railway system. The residential areas are also connected by a series of horizontal railways which is mainly utilized in the everyday lives of the general public.
Locations and addresses within the domes are displayed using XYZ axes. Using these coordinates with a “Navi” system, a resident can easily reach a desired destination without getting lost.
