The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya & Cutie Honey English Dubs To Premiere At Sakura-Con!
March 9th, 2007 (Cypress, CA) Bandai Entertainment Inc. and Kadokawa Pictures USA, Inc. announced today that two episodes of the English dub of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will premiere at Sakura-Con on Friday April 6th, at 4:30 PM at a Haruhi dedicated panel at the convention. This will be the only public screening of the English dub prior to Haruhi’s May 29th release on DVD. In addition, Bandai Entertainment’s live-action release, Cutie Honey, directed by Evangelion’s Hideaki Anno, will also premiere in English dub at the convention on Saturday April 7th from 8:30 to 10:30pm.
We’re pleased to be working with Sakura-Con 2007 to bring these English premieres and other activities to their 10th anniversary convention, said Robert Napton, Director of Sales and Marketing at Bandai Entertainment.
Also, Bandai Entertainment Inc. will have a number of its anime programs screening at the convention and welcome everyone to attend their industry panel on Saturday April 7th from 4-4:30pm which promises to have some special announcements, loads of information and give away items for attendees.
